New R.I.C. Records Added by the Irish World Heritage Centre to the County Tyrone data

Over 58,000 Royal Irish Constabulary records have just been added to the County Tyrone database by the Irish World Heritage Centre. These records cover R.I.C. members from all Irish counties.

You can choose R.I.C. from the Sources drop down list to search R.I.C. records only.

We have added transcripts of over 30,000 baptismal records to the database of the Galway East Family History Society on our website. These include the following parishes:

The ruins of Clontuskert Abbey are located 8km from Ballinasloe in Co Galway. The west doorway of the church (1471) is notable for its carvings.

Fingal County Council’s Archives Service has teamed up with the Burial Grounds Section to provide free access to all the records of burials it holds. It has developed a complete, searchable database of burials with downloads of all original registers also available.

Fingal County Council is responsible for burials in 36 graveyards in North County Dublin. For the majority of these the Council holds a record of burials dating back to at least the 1930s.
